What is the 5×1000?
The 5×1000 is a portion of taxes that the state waives to allocate to nonprofit organizations, such as the Franciscan Laboratories Association ETS, to support their activities.
The 5×1000 is not an additional cost because it is not an extra tax.
The 5×1000 DOES NOT replace the 8×1000 allocated to religious confessions. These are two different options, and both can be used to allocate part of your taxes to different purposes.
How does it work?
The taxpayer submitting the Tax Return will find the section “Choice for the destination of the 5×1000 of IRPEF.”
Look for the box “Support… non-profit organizations…”

Who can allocate their 5×1000?
All individuals residing in Italy (including non-EU nationals with a valid residence and work permit) who have earned taxable income in the fiscal year.
Why do I need to specify the Tax Code of the entity I want to allocate my 5×1000 to?
Because, if not specified, the contributions will be proportionally distributed among all the 5×1000 beneficiary organizations.
